Overview
The G36 itself was created in the 1990s by Heckler & Koch, a German manufacturing company. The G36C is a further development of the G36K. It has a shorter barrel than the G36K, and an open-prong flash hider. The extremely short barrel forced designers to move the gas block closer to the muzzle end and reduce the length of the gas piston operating rod. The G36C has a thirty round magazine that fires 5.56x45mm. Today, the G36 and G36C are still in used by Germany, the United States, Canada, Australia, and many more countries.
In Outpost, the G36C serves as the primary assault rifle for D.C. and Jordan.
