The G36C is an assault rifle in the Outpost (film).

Overview[]

The G36 itself was created in the 1990s by Heckler & Koch, a German manufacturing company. The G36C rifle is a further development of the G36K. It has a shorter barrel than the G36K and an open-prong flash hider. The extremely short barrel forced designers to move the gas block closer to the muzzle end and reduce the length of the gas piston operating rod. The G36C has a thirty-round magazine that fires 5.56 x 45mm. Today, the G36 and G36C are still in use by Germany, the United States, Canada, Australia, and many more countries.

In the Outpost (film), the G36C serves as the primary assault rifle for D.C. and Jordan.

Trivia[]

  • D.C.'s G36C has a collapsible stock. This can be confirmed in the photo above.
  • D.C. (Ray Stevenson) and Jordan (Paul Blair) use Heckler & Koch G36C assault rifles. The sound mixers used different sound effects for Jordan's G36C and D.C.'s G36C, even though they're the same rifle.
