The SIG Sauer P239 is a semi-automatic pistol designed and developed by Swiss Arms. It is chambered in the 9x19mm Parabellum, the .357 SIG and the .40 S&W ammunition; with a 7-8 round magazine.
Outpost[]
In the film Outpost; D.C. is known to carry this pistol along with his Colt M1911A1 as his sidearms. While trying to leave the S.S. Bunker; Hunt tries to talk him into staying, but despite his attempts, D.C. turns and hands him the P39 and giving him the opportunity to stay behind while the others left.
Eventually though; D.C. did give the pistol to Hunt in hopes that he would get out and find help due to the fact that the rest of his men were killed by the Nazi Ghosts. Hunt did give it back to him because he would need it. Upon arrival; an unknown member of the second team of Mercenaries entered the bunker with this pistol drawn, while he carried a flashlight.
Trivia[]
DC (Ray Stevenson) also carries a SIG-Sauer P239 as a secondary sidearm in the film. He offers the weapon to Hunt (Julian Wadham) at one point. One of the men of the second mercenary team entering the compound in the end also uses a SIG-Sauer P239.
